What it is

Polishory is a read-only design review service for public websites. We verified www.polishory.design on 2026-09-22 (HTTP 200 via polishory.design → www): you paste a live URL, it opens the page in a real browser at desktop (1440×900) and mobile (390×844), then returns a design scorecard plus screenshot-backed notes on reading order, hierarchy, spacing, and button affordance. Observed facts and suggested edits stay separate; the tool does not touch your repo or rewrite the site.

Credit tiers span a rules-only check (cheap), a standard AI review of the captured evidence, and a deeper multi-section pass on the same two viewports. Free monthly credits cover a short trial; paid plans unlock deeper runs. Every plan includes a Markdown report you can take into your own PR or design notes.

Who it’s for

Indie makers and solo engineers whose product works but looks generic — the common “AI scaffold shipped, visual polish skipped” gap. If you already have a design system team, Figma critiques, and accessibility audits wired into CI, Polishory is redundant. If you need someone to say why the hero feels flat without giving them git access, a URL-in audit is the interesting shape.

Why we listed it

Fresh public launch: Product Hunt day 2026-09-18, live site verified on 2026-09-22. Category gap on this board — we have Dev tools, agents, billing, and marketing, but no dedicated design-audit listing. Fits the new-only bar: early credit-based SaaS from a named indie maker, not a household design platform.

Caveats

We have not run a deep paid review against our own site as a paid customer. Public URLs only — auth walls and localhost are out of scope by design. Credit pricing and AI-review quality are vendor claims; treat the Markdown brief as a starting checklist, not a substitute for a human designer on brand-critical pages. Early-product risk: viewport presets, scoring dimensions, and credit economics will still move.
