AppUFO (appufo.app) is a macOS app for AI localization of iOS projects: import Xcode .xcstrings, translate to 36+ languages with placeholder/brand protection and character limits, then export back to Xcode. Verified 2026-09-22 from the live site: drag-and-drop flow, glossary / keep-untranslated controls, reverse-translate checks via Apple Translate for languages you don’t read, and pricing cards (€9.99/mo, €69.99/yr, €39.99 lifetime options listed — regional variance noted). Built by Melvin, an indie iOS developer since 2012 per the about blurb.
Who it’s for

Caveats
AI translation still needs spot checks — UI truncation, cultural tone, and legal copy can fail silently. Character limits help layout but don’t guarantee native quality.
